Apple is a very trendy in New York City right now. Every other person you meet in the city has an iPod in the bag or on their belt. It is as much a fashion statement as going around with a Gucci bag.

When you com into the Apple Store which is located in hyper-trendy SoHo it’s like going into an ultra-modern church. The atmosphere is so filled with hype that you can almost touch it. On the top floor demos and lectures about Apple’s products go on all day and the audiences sit in a mystic trance as if in a worship service.

[For Europeans] There is much money to be saved here but keep in mind that the guarantees aren’t international and that certain products require adaptors to function on 240 volts. You might even have to pay import duty and VAT for merchandise over a certain value.
